Every image dimension and text limit for publishing an extension on the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store.

Icons

Edge add-on icons follow the same sizes as Chrome, since Edge is Chromium-based. All icons must be PNG format.

Used in Windows taskbar and other OS-level UI.

Displayed in the browser toolbar. Must be legible at this small size.

Edge allows up to 10 screenshots — double Chrome's limit. Take advantage of this to show more use cases and features of your extension.

Edge uses the same promotional image sizes as Chrome. These are optional but increase your chances of being featured.

Used in smaller promotional placements and category listings.

920 × 680

Used in featured sections with higher visibility.

1400 × 560

Hero banner for top-level featuring on the Edge Add-ons homepage.

Edge allows up to 10 screenshots vs. Chrome's 5 per language.
Edge has a 75-character name limit vs. Chrome's 45 characters.
Edge has a separate "short description" field (132 chars) — Chrome uses the summary differently.
Edge description allows up to 16,384 characters — Chrome caps at 16,000.
Image dimensions and formats are otherwise identical, since both stores serve Chromium extensions.
You can reuse the same icons, screenshots, and promo images on both stores.
